College Planning, and More

College Planning, and More: a blog about college and planning for the future.

The author of this blog is a college-bound high school student who loves learning about colleges and majors, but finds the whole process a bit overwhelming. Check out these posts to learn more about various majors, classes to take in high school, and other stuff for college success.

I am not just an expert in college planning but also a college student myself. I have gone through the process of applying and getting into the right school and I am happy to lend my experience and expertise to anyone who needs it. This blog is for anyone who is interested in planning for the future, especially in terms of college and education.

I started this blog because I had such a hard time finding information about all of the different aspects of college planning, finance, applications, essays, and more. There were so many questions that I had about how to do it all correctly.

I know how stressful it can be to plan for college so I want to make that process easier for other students by sharing my own experiences and giving advice on the things I wish I had known when I was going through the same thing.

College planning is the process of thinking about your future and how you will get there. You should start planning for college as early as possible. It takes time to save money, to look at different options, to apply for scholarships, and to make important decisions about your future. Some people even take classes in high school that will count for credit at most colleges. That can make life a lot easier when you are in college!

One important part of college planning is deciding what kind of career you want to have. Different careers require different degrees and sometimes require more schooling after a bachelor’s degree. Some careers also require additional certification or training. If you know what career you want before you go to college, you can work towards getting the right degree and make sure that you are doing everything you need to do in order to get there.

Morf Busker is a college planning blog. It is written by someone who has been through the process of applying to various schools, and can assist you in making your own decision about where to apply, what to do, and more. The author will be responding to comments/questions in the near future.

The first thing to do is avoid being overwhelmed. If you were one of the lucky few who had a high school counselor who really cared and took the time to get to know you as an individual, then you might have a good idea of what college is all about. But if not, or if you are like me and prefer to be more proactive in your own future, then let’s start with a few basics. First, what is college? The word “college” can refer to any number of things, from a training center for technical careers (like the College of DuPage), to an undergraduate institution that primarily provides liberal arts education (like Knox College), to a graduate school (like Harvard Business School). So before we go any further, let’s first define what we mean by “college.” For the rest of this post, I will be referring to colleges as four-year undergraduate institutions that provide some sort of general education curriculum on top of specific majors.

I am currently enrolled in such an institution; I attend:

Knox College. I chose Knox because I was interested in the college experience, but I also knew that I wanted to study abroad at some point. Most colleges have some sort of

Morf Busker is a high school senior. He is a very busy guy. In addition to his normal course load, he has been practicing with his band, and he has been applying to colleges. He recently got an internship at the nearby college radio station, WXYZ.

In this blog post, Morf talks about how he manages his time so that he gets everything done.

He is a member of the high school cross country team, and he has started lifting weights for the first time in his life. At school, he takes AP World History and honors Physics. He also belongs to the school’s tech club and participates in the school musical. He plays guitar in a local band that has regular gigs around town. The band sometimes rehearses up to four times a week when they have upcoming gigs or studio time booked.

Because Morf is so busy, he does not have time for a part-time job or for volunteering with any organizations outside of school activities. However, Morf recently got an internship at the college radio station WXYZ where he hosts his own show every Thursday night from 10:00 pm – 1:00 am.
