A Seminar on Staying in the Busk: An information seminar that discusses different issues surrounding busking.
Busking is a form of performing in public places for money. The term busking comes from the Spanish root word “buscar” which means “to seek”. As such, it can be loosely translated as “to seek out”. Buskers may perform on street corners, bus stations, subway platforms, sidewalks, or in other public spaces. They may also perform wherever they can attract an audience, such as in public transport vehicles, at festivals, or in shops and bars. The act of busking is not always done to make money directly but can sometimes be to promote another business venture or to raise awareness or funds for a cause.
People who do this are known as “buskers” and some are professional entertainers who have mastered their skill to the point where they can survive financially by performing it. However, many people who do this for a living are not professionals but amateurs looking for extra income to support their other work. Many of these performers are hobbyists who enjoy the thrill of busking because they love entertaining people and feel that this helps them connect with others in society more easily than if they were just walking around aimlessly without
A Seminar on Staying in the Busk
By B. E. Ball-Lords
An information seminar that discusses different issues surrounding busking.
The busk is a place. It is neither here nor there, but it is all around us, and we must stay in it to succeed. Obviously, the busk is a metaphor for our lives and this article is about what makes those lives richer or poorer. I have been successful myself and therefore am uniquely qualified to give advice about the busk.
As a successful businessman, I can tell you that life is a lot like being a clown: you put on your makeup, and then through trial and error you figure out what works best. You do not get to be a clown if people do not like your routine; if they do not laugh at your jokes, you might as well just quit now because they will not pay to see you again unless you change your act. The same goes for life: you try one thing, and if that does not work, you try another thing; if that fails too then perhaps it is time to move to Idaho or Alaska because obviously something is wrong with you as a person and there are no more opportunities left in this world for someone like you.

How do you look after your gear?
What sort of attitudes are important for success?
Staying in the Busk: A Seminar for New Buskers
It is easy to get into the busk. It is not easy to stay there.
This seminar will cover:
[ ] How to deal with people.
[ ] What to do when other buskers are around.
[ ] When to move on.
[ ] How to stay safe.
Being a busker is no picnic. Being a successful busker is even more difficult. The economic times are tough, and there are more buskers than ever before. One of the most important things to help you stay out of the street is having the right attitude. This seminar will discuss what it takes to be a successful busker and how to face the challenges that arise in this unpredictable industry.
The first thing you need to know about being a successful busker is how to deal with rejection. Not everyone likes your music, and not everyone likes magic. They may not like you’re act or they may not be in the mood for entertainment at all. Some people may even find your act offensive or irrelevant – or they may just think that you should be doing something else with your life! There is no way around rejection, so you need to learn how to deal with it and move on to the next person in line.
The second thing that is key to success as well as survival on the streets is timing! Timing can make or break your show, depending on when and where it takes place. People are more receptive to entertainment during certain hours than others, so you need to take advantage of these times when people are ready for fun! This seminar will

There are two ways to be rich: One is by acquiring much, and the other is by desiring little.
In the last twenty-five years, I have spent a lot of time around people with more money than God. But I’m not sure how happy many of them are. Some people with a lot of money have it because they know how to enjoy it. Most people with a lot of money don’t know how to enjoy it.
You can get a sense of the difference by imagining that you dropped in on two different parties given for the same group of people: one where you had to pay $100,000 to get in, and one where you had to give $100,000 away to get in. The first would probably be a good party. The second would probably be better.
Money is like gasoline during a road trip. You don’t want to run out of gas on your trip, but you’re not doing a tour of gas stations. You have better things to do then be looking for gas all the time. The same with money. If you live your life constantly eyeing up the next ten dollars you can make or save, it’s going to be hard to enjoy any of it.
This doesn’t mean there aren’t
