I’ve been a busker for 10 years now. I’ve been around the world, performing on the streets of Australia, Asia, South America, Africa, Europe and North America.

It’s an amazing life! There’s nothing else I’d rather do than perform on the streets for people from all over the world!

Street performance or busking is the act of performing in public places for gratuities. In many countries the rewards are generally in the form of money but other gratuities such as food, drink or gifts may be given. Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity. People engaging in this practice are called street performers or buskers. Performances are anything that people find entertaining. The term busking was first noted in the English language around the middle 1860s in Great Britain.

Buskers may use props such as magic tricks, animals, juggling, pantomime, acrobatics and music. They may also sing, recite poetry or tell stories to attract an audience. Buskers may also perform to raise money for themselves or for charity but some do it to express their art and love of performance.

The next section looks at how different cultures respond to street performance by looking at two specific countries: Ireland and China.

Clarisse Laine is a French street busker, born in Paris on May 5th, 1975. This year she was elected best street busker in the world!

Her main instrument is the violin. She started learning to play the violin at the age of 4 and since then has never stopped playing music.

Clarisse Laine travels around the world and performs on the streets of different cities. She usually plays her violin for several hours every day, starting from 8 am till 10 pm.

Her concerts are always in different places: under a tree in a park, on some small stairs at a subway exit or just on the sidewalk, but it does not matter for her as long as people enjoy her music.

She has a very special way of playing and always looks happy when performing.

Her style is unique and combines classical and modern music together. Sometimes she even plays one song with two violins together, both in different tunes!

Her brother Paul is also a musician and they play together sometimes.

Clarisse Laine has recorded many videos with her performances on YouTube channel.

Clarisse Laine is a street performer that plays covers of well-known songs on her violin. She has made over $60,000 busking on the streets of Paris and is now traveling the world to discover and write about other inspiring street performers.

I have been to many places in the world, and have seen many street performers. I like street performers because they are talented and entertaining people who usually don’t get a lot of recognition for their talent. My goal is to share the best street buskers with others and help them get noticed.

I write about many different types of artists, from dancers and musicians to jugglers, magicians, fire-eaters and more. I also write about performers from all over the world, not just London.
