The purpose of this blog is to inform travelers about the different types of street performers that you should look out for while traveling.

Street performers are a common sight in many touristy areas, and can be a great source of entertainment. However, there are some street performers that you should be wary of, as they can cause you to lose money or personal items. Street performers often work in groups, so if you see one performer with a crowd around them, keep an eye out for accomplices who may try to pickpocket or distract you while your guard is down.

Here is a list of the most common types of street performers and how to avoid them:

Pick-pockets

Pick-pocketing has been around since ancient times, but has become increasingly prevalent with the increased use of smartphones and other valuable electronics. It is also a common method used by street performers. A group will often have one person perform while the others pickpocket their onlookers. The best way to avoid being pickpocketed by street performers is to keep your hands on your wallet or purse at all times. If you think someone has stolen from you, quickly check your pockets and luggage before moving away from the area where it happened.

Distractions

Distraction techniques are another tactic used

It’s been a long day of traveling and you’ve just arrived in a new city with a new culture. You are excited to see what the city has to offer but you don’t know where to start. You walk down the street and before you know it, you see some people up ahead. They stop, they stare, they point, and then they begin clapping. You look up and see some people performing on the street! “This is perfect!” You think. “I’ll just sit here and enjoy the show.”

It’s no secret that most travelers love street performers. They are fun, entertaining, and oftentimes uniquely skilled. However, there are many types of street performers that are not as innocent as they seem. To help you avoid trouble while traveling abroad, we have put together a list of five deadly street performers (and how to avoid them)

1). The Ringleader

This performer is usually the first person you will notice in the group because he or she is the one barking out orders for everyone else to follow. The Ringleader will be dressed quite fancy compared to everyone else which should be your first sign that something is off about this group of performers. If you stop to watch them perform, chances are this Ringleader will come up

As many of you will know, I’ve done some travelling in my time. And while I’ve had many encounters with street performers on my travels – the majority of which were pleasant and enjoyable – I’ve also come across a few that have really left me feeling angry. In fact, some of these people have been so aggressive that I’ve had to confront them head-on.

That’s why I thought it would be helpful for you all if I wrote about the different types of street performers that you should look out for while travelling. There are five main ones that I wanted to mention, and they are:

The “musical” street performer

This performer will often be found with a guitar or other musical instrument, performing music in a public place. In fact, they’re so good at what they do that sometimes they even make their own instruments from scratch!

The “funny” street performer

As the name suggests, this performer is primarily known for trying to make you laugh. It’s worth noting that most funny street performers are men, but sometimes women can be funny too.

hi everyone,

today i am going to be talking about the five most deadly street performers and how you can avoid getting taken advantage of by them. basically, they fall into five categories: the ones that are trying to sell you something, the ones who will steal your stuff while you’re distracted, the ones who will ask for money but won’t expect it, the ones that just want to fight you, and the ones that will pretend to be your friend in order to try to get money out of you.

the first category is the most common. these are people who will tell you they have a great business proposition for a low cost but high profit margin that only requires a small investment upfront. they might say they have a new product idea like an energy drink with no calories or a new service like dating websites for dogs.

the second type is also very common. these are people who will pretend to be nice and friendly in order to get close enough so they can steal your stuff while you’re distracted by their antics. beware of anyone who wants to shake hands with strangers on crowded streets or ask tourists what time it is because those are both ways of getting close enough so they can pickpocket you!

the third type is less common but still prevalent. these are

Street performers can be extremely entertaining, especially when you are traveling and exploring new cities for the first time. They can provide a much needed distraction from the hustle and bustle of city life, but as you will soon discover, not all street performers are created equal.

That’s why it’s important that you learn how to spot the best performers while avoiding their toxic counterparts. These five different types of street performers are best avoided at all costs.

1 – The Juggler

Jugglers are easily identifiable. They tend to stand in high traffic areas with neon colored juggling pins in one hand and a hat on the ground waiting to be filled with money. What they fail to mention is that they have an accomplice waiting just out of sight to finish collecting your hard earned cash before stealing away into the night. You may also notice a small child holding a cup of change nearby, don’t be fooled! This is merely another accomplice in disguise.

2 – The Impromptu Band

You might think that the impromptu band is a group of talented musicians who just happened to meet on the street and decided to put on a show for your benefit, but that would be wrong. There is nothing impromptu about this band. In fact, these musicians have likely been

In the summer, they come out like roaches. They are loud and obnoxious, and they do not care about you or your personal space. They will stop at nothing to get your attention and money.

I’m talking about street performers, of course. If you live in a city that is frequented by tourists, you are well aware of how annoying these people can be.

This article is a public service announcement: Here are five types of street performers that you should avoid at all costs and how to avoid them if you see them on your travels:

If you’ve been to New York City recently, you may have noticed some changes to the city’s streets. There has been a sharp uptick in street performers and master-of-ceremony types. Unfortunately, most of these performers are not legitimate and deserve to be avoided. Here are five of the most common offenders, and how to deal with them.

The Statues

These performers dress up like statues or mannequins and pretend to be stone while they hold out a bucket or hat for change. If you put money in their bucket or hat, they will move a hand or an eye at you in appreciation. The problem is that this occupies more than 40 square feet of valuable Manhattan real estate without returning any value to the city.

The Solution: Don’t encourage them. They will eventually go away if enough people ignore them. If you really must interact with one of these performers, go for it, but don’t pay them anything. Just ask them if they’re hungry and offer them a free slice of pizza from the nearest restaurant. They’ll get the hint and move along shortly after that.

The Magicians

No matter where you go on earth, there is always some guy doing magic tricks on the street for tips. Whether they do card
