Rod Stewart is one of the most successful artists in music history, this iconic singer has a stellar career spanning over forty years. His career began in the 1960’s with The Soul Agents, a band formed by him and some friends while he was working as a gravedigger at Highgate Cemetery. He then went on to join the Jeff Beck Group where he met Ronnie Wood who would later become a member of The Faces. During his time with the Jeff Beck Group he started to find fame as they sung covers of many blues songs. The band disbanded in 1969 and Rod Stewart moved on to play with The Faces where he found even more success. After four albums, Stewart left the band in order to pursue a solo career.
He had a string of hits in the 1970’s and 80’s including “Maggie May”, “You Wear It Well” and “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?”. In addition to his solo career, he also collaborated with other artists such as Jeff Beck, Sting and Elton John. He was inducted into both the Rock and Roll

Rod Stewart will embark upon a major North American summer tour beginning in July and stretching through September. The trek, which will feature special guest Steve Winwood, will begin on July 21 in Baltimore and continue through September.
Rod Stewart’s tour schedule includes 31 concerts in the U.S. and Canada, including stops at Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, New York’s Yankee Stadium and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.
“I’m so excited to be touring with Steve Winwood again,” said Rod Stewart. “We had a blast last year touring together and it was so successful that we decided to do it again! I’m looking forward to getting back out on the road this summer.”
Tickets for all shows except for Detroit go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10am local time. Detroit tickets go on sale Saturday, March 25 at 10am local time.
