Summer Camps, Workshops and Music Classes are Coming to Your Neighborhood!
Main Street Performing Arts Center is excited to announce a new opportunity for families in the community. We will be hosting Summer Camps, Workshops and Music Classes for all ages this summer. Each class is listed below along with a description of the class, age group and time.
All classes will be held at Main Street Performing Arts Center 330 E Main St. in Downtown Mesa. The summer camps are instructed by our very own instructors who teach at the center already.
Space is limited so get your registrations in early!
Summer Camp Schedule:
Summer Camp 1: June 5th-9th from 9am-12pm, ages 4-6 years old $100 per child (includes materials)
This camp is all about art and music! Each day we will spend two hours on visual arts projects and one hour on music activities. Visual art projects will range from painting to creating mobiles out of recycled materials. Music activities will include singing songs, creating instruments and playing games. At the end of the week there will be a small recital where parents can observe their children’s progress during the week.
Summer Camp 2: June 12th-16th from 9

Our brand new Summer Camps are coming soon! We have camps for everyone, from children to adults. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, we have something for you. Learn more about our camps here.
Workshops are coming up as well! Our headlining workshops are our Broadway and Rock Band workshops. The Broadway workshop lasts two weeks and culminates in a live performance of The Wizard of Oz, open to the public! The Rock Band workshop has limited spots available, and will teach you how to play instruments like drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard. You’ll learn how to jam with other people and create your own music! Read more about these workshops here.

What is Main Street Performing Arts Center?
We are a non-profit organization with the mission to make arts education more accessible and affordable. We offer dance classes, acting classes, music classes, and summer camps. We also host workshops from professional artists and faculty from local colleges and universities across North Carolina. Our goal is to provide students with a diverse program of arts education opportunities that inspire creativity, develop talents and cultivate a lifelong passion for the arts.

July 20-24, Intro to Music Technology Workshop (ages 10+)
Main Street Performing Arts Center is coming to a neighborhood near you this summer!
We will be offering a wide array of summer camps and workshops that are sure to captivate your child’s imagination. Whether your child is interested in dancing, singing, acting, or playing an instrument, Main Street has something for everyone. Our offerings include:
Broadway Babies for ages 3-4
Summer Stars for ages 5-7
Percussion Ensemble for ages 8 and up
Side by Side for ages 10 and up
Actors Workshop for ages 12 and up
Audition Prep for ages 12 and up
We will also be offering private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, drums, violin and bass guitar. Call our office at 555-555-5555 to inquire about private lessons.
Camps will run from June 15 – August 18 with flexible hours Monday through Friday. There are also half-day options available. Cost varies per camp/workshop.

We are an after school music program for kids. Our goal is to provide a fun, interactive and encouraging environment for children of all ages. We believe anyone can learn to play the piano, guitar or drums without the need for long tutorials or boring exercises. Our teachers will teach your child how to play their favorite songs, while also teaching them music theory, ear training, and more.
Our students will learn in small group classes so they never feel lost or left behind. Our classrooms are filled with colorful and exciting instruments that will always keep your child interested and engaged throughout their lesson.
