The First Annual “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza will be held on March 25th, 2012 at 6pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Dancers ages 5 and up will perform a variety of original ballet, jazz, modern, and Broadway-style pieces in celebration of the upcoming Spring season.
The show will take place in the Park Street School Auditorium and will last approximately one hour. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.

The First Annual “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza will be held at the Park Street Elementary School on March 25th, 2012 at 6pm. Students from kindergarten through fifth grade will be performing dances they have been practicing since the beginning of the school year.
Attendees can expect to see over 100 students dressed in bright colors and dancing to a variety of music, including everything from classical to country. There will also be several special performances by older students who are part of the school’s dance club. These talented dancers will perform modern dance routines that include aerial work and acrobatics on a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling!

This year’s show will feature performances in a variety of styles and genres, including hip hop, ballet, breakdancing, modern dance, musical theater and more. With performers ranging in age from four to eighteen years old, the show will appeal to audiences of all ages.

The Park Street School of Performing Arts is pleased to announce the First Annual “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza, an all-school dance show to be held in the school gymnasium on March 25th, 2012 at 6 PM. This event will showcase the talent and creativity of our students, who have worked hard all year to prepare for this spectacular show.
All students have been working with their teachers to learn their routines, and they have made incredible progress! This year’s theme is “Colors,” so many of the dances will feature color-related imagery and costumes. Our dancers have come up with some truly innovative dance moves and costume designs that you won’t want to miss!
Tickets are now on sale at the school office for $5 each; ask for Jane Smith. Tickets will also be available at the door for $7 each on the day of the show. Please note that we are expecting a capacity crowd, so we recommend that you purchase tickets in advance. Seating is limited, so you won’t want to wait until the last minute!

Grab your boas, slip on your dancing shoes, and get ready to put on your own show! In conjunction with the Town of Park Street Recreation Department, the PARK STREET PERFORMING ARTS CENTER will be hosting its first ever dance show for young children ages 3-7 years old. Auditions are being held on Saturday, March 10th from 10am – 12pm at the Park Street Performing Arts Center located at 155 Park Street.
The “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza will feature segments from “Carnival of the Animals” and “Red Riding Hood” as well as a variety of other works which will be choreographed to highlight the talents of each child in the ensemble. The ensemble will perform at the First Annual “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza on Friday, March 25th at 6:00 pm. Participation in this performance is free and all children who audition will be cast in the show.
The Park Street Performing Arts Center is proud to present our first annual “Primary Colors” Dance Extravaganza, featuring students from all three of our dance schools. Enjoy an evening of music and dance as our students demonstrate their passion and skill in a variety of exciting styles. The show starts at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 25th, 2012.
The evening will open with an exciting display of jazz and hip-hop dance performed by our high school students. Next, the younger children will take the stage to demonstrate their skills in ballet, tap and modern dance. Finally, the show will conclude with a lively performance by our adult group, which will include classical ballet, lyrical jazz and more.
We are pleased to feature music from both Broadway and Hollywood films in this production. Our dancers will also be wearing colorful costumes created especially for this event!

Park Street Performing Arts is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for our spring production, “Primary Colors”. This year’s show features students from the four elementary schools and the middle school. The show will be held at the middle school at 6pm on March 25th.
The student dancers, ages 5-12, have been working hard since September to prepare for this exciting event. We are very proud of their dedication and talent. Performers include:
Sarah Charles, kindergartner at Oakfield Elementary who has been dancing since age 3; Justin Jones, second grader from Sharpnack Elementary; and Sara Hendrixson, a sixth grader from Park Street Middle School who plans to pursue a career in dance.
