Busking is a great way to express your creativity and make extra money. Whether you are a musician, juggler, magician, or other type of street artist, there are some basic tips that can help you make the most of your busking experience.

1- Where should you perform? Find out what kind of street performers are welcome in your area. Some cities have strict rules against street performers. If this is the case, you will want to find out what locations will allow performers and whether or not you need a permit.

2- What time should I perform? You should try to perform when people are likely to be walking around with money in their pockets. Afternoon lunch hours and evenings tend to be good times for buskers.

3- What do I need to bring? Bring all of the items that you will need for your act including your instrument (if applicable), props and any other equipment that may be necessary. Also remember to bring an extra set of strings (if applicable) and batteries (if applicable). This way you will be prepared if something breaks or malfunctions during your act.

4- Should I use a hat? The hat is an optional item but many buskers use it as a way to get donations from the crowd. It

Street performance is fun. Not only will you make some good money but it’s a great way to meet new people and get some public speaking experience.

To begin with, you want to choose a location. A good place to start is the local market square. There are usually lots of people there, especially on weekends.

Next, you need to decide how much time you want to spend busking. Busking for even just one hour makes a big difference in your day, but it’s not enough time to reach your full potential of money earned that day. You need to dedicate at least three hours or more in order to be as successful as possible.

Once you have figured out where and when you want to busk, now comes the best part: choosing an act! If you’re like me and want to perform solo, then you can try out any act from singing to dancing, from playing an instrument to doing magic tricks and juggling. If you can’t decide on one act then don’t worry – try them all!

If you prefer working with others then it’s best if you decide on one person who will do the main act while the others simply add in with background music or actions that aren’t too distracting (for example: clapping along).

Do you have what it takes to busk? Busking is performing in a public place for tips. A busker is a street performer, whether they sing, dance, juggle, or do magic. But there is so much more to busking than just performing. Here are 7 tips to help you get started as a busker.

1. Be entertaining. The best buskers are those who put on a truly entertaining show, whatever their medium. They have practiced and perfected their craft, and they bring something new to the table. Many of them are also comic and interact with the audience in some way, which is part of what makes them so enjoyable to watch.

2. Look like you’re enjoying yourself. If you look as if you’re enjoying yourself, people will want to linger and watch your act, which means more money in your hat at the end of the day.

3. Bring an audience with you if possible. Street performers often draw a crowd that hasn’t heard of them before, but when people see a crowd forming naturally around a performer they are more likely to stop to find out what all the fuss is about.

4. Location matters – choose wisely! You will have more success busking if you are in a busy spot where there is good footfall, but it should be somewhere that isn’t too noisy or distracting for people to hear or see you properly.

5. Consider pitching up somewhere quirky… A unique location can help draw an audience’s attention towards your act; for example one busker plays his saxophone from inside a glass box (as shown in the

There are many reasons to get into street performing: it’s a great way to make money, you get to meet new people every day, and it’s a great experience. Before you hit the streets to perform, however, there are some things you should know.

1. Pick a safe location: This is especially important for women who busk alone, but should be taken seriously by everyone. Try to avoid being in an empty area where you may be alone with an angry person; or one with very little traffic so that no one is around if there is trouble. You want to stay in an area where there are lots of people around who will notice if something goes wrong.

2. Know your limits: Be aware of what you can do and what you can’t do. If you are afraid of heights, don’t try to juggle on a unicycle on the side of a bridge — or even on the sidewalk below! If you’re not comfortable performing in front of large crowds, then don’t try it right away. You’ll find your comfort level when it comes to performing by going out and doing it — so just go out and do it!

3. Have fun with it: Don’t take yourself too seriously when you perform on

The following is intended to make your street performance life more enjoyable, profitable and secure. It’s a mix of advice from my own experience as a busker, and also from other performers who have shared their experiences with me.

1. Learn And Perform As Many Tricks As Possible

The more tricks you perform, the more money you’ll make. This is because the audience won’t get bored of your act and they won’t have seen the same thing before which makes them feel like they are getting their money’s worth.

It’s also important that you can adapt your act to suit different locations and audiences. Perhaps you perform a lot of card magic at the weekend but you want to do some close-up magic during the week too? If this is the case you may want to learn some coin magic or other fast-paced tricks that people can watch whilst they are eating their lunch break or on route to work.

Of course learning different tricks takes time so it’s important that you find a good balance between how many tricks you know and how many times you perform each trick each day. You need to be constantly challenging yourself but

The most important thing is to practice. Especially if it’s your first time, you’re going to feel like crap, so best not to do it in front of a large crowd.

That done, the next step is to find a good location. It has to be safe, legal and have lots of foot traffic. If you’re in a city centre, there are usually places where buskers meet before the day starts. They will know the best spots in town and will usually be happy to share their knowledge with you.

The best times to perform would be during lunch breaks (12:00pm – 1:30pm), after work (5:00pm – 7:30pm) and weekends.

You should pick up your money with one hand and hand out cards or other merchandise with the other hand. It’s good manners for people who are watching your performance to give you a tip, so make sure you always have an open hat or guitar case nearby.

If the cops come by, just stop performing and tell them that you will be on your way right away. They may even make sure that nobody steals your money while you pack up!

Finally, make sure that you smile and thank everyone who is willing to stop and watch you play!
