You Can Contact Me Any Time. Because I’m Busking: a blog about busking on the streets and being a magician.

I had a great time in Edinburgh, performing my street show at the busiest spot in the city, The Royal Mile. I was making good money and meeting awesome people, having great chats with them.

My show was based on my busking magic tricks that I worked out on the streets of London over the past years. It was all about comedy, fun and laughter, incorporating original ideas for street magic tricks.

Busking and street performing is something I really love doing! And practicing! It really makes me happy to see people laughing, smiling and talking about my show after they have watched it.

Busking as a career? Well, I have been thinking about it for a long time now. I have tried to make it work in some cities but it just wasn’t happening…

In one of these cities, an English speaking city abroad, where I lived for a couple of months, I tried to quit my job in order to start busking professionally. But after two weeks of trying to make it work on the streets I had to go back to my job…

It was hard… especially because I

Hey, I’m Busking!

You Can Contact Me Any Time. Because I’m Busking

A blog about busking on the streets and being a magician.

I’m a street performer. I do magic in the streets and on the subway. That’s what this blog is all about. You can hear stories and see pictures of me performing magic here.

The name of this blog is You Can Contact Me Any Time. Because I’m Busking because it was the first thing that came to mind when my friend asked me what I should call my new website. I use it as my title when I do street magic, so I named it after myself.

The second part of my title is “Because I’m Busking” because that is also something I say all the time when people ask me what I am doing with my life and how they can get in touch with me for whatever reason. It’s not just about busking, though; it’s about any gig that you are doing on a regular basis to support yourself or your family, whether it be working at a coffee shop or delivering pizzas or whatever else you may be doing to make ends meet while pursuing your dream of being a professional magician or

As a magician, I make connections with people by performing magic.

As a blogger, I make connections with people by writing about my experiences as a magician and what I’ve learned from them.

On the street, I have to be able to talk to anyone at any time.

I am always busking: at work, at home, or in between gigs.

A few months ago I wrote about how to be a busking magician. The post was just some basic tips for new magicians who want to try busking.

But the truth is, busking isn’t an easy way to make money. Even if you’re good at what you do, it takes time and effort to get customers to stop and watch. You have to stand out from the crowd and show potential customers that they’ll get value from your performance.

And if you’re a new magician, this can be really hard. You need people to watch you so that you can practice your patter and get better at performing in general. But when you haven’t got much experience, people are less likely to pay attention.

It’s a tricky problem. And one way of working around it is to just start performing anyway, regardless of whether anyone watches or not.

I used to do this all the time. I’d set up on the street with my magic props and practice my act over and over again until I found something that worked consistently well with passers-by. If no one stopped for a while, I’d pack up and try again somewhere else (or maybe later).

Nowadays I’ve got some routines that consistently draw a crowd

I’ve been performing magic for over 20 years. I’ve worked in restaurants, casinos and street corners. I’ve been on the streets of London and New York, Sofia and Copenhagen. I’ve been featured on the BBC and ITV.

I love street magic. There is no better feeling than being surrounded by people who are enjoying your show.

I’m also a fan of close-up magic; card tricks, coin tricks, rope tricks, mind reading, pick pocketing… most of my work is close-up magic but as you will see from this blog my favourite place to perform is on the streets.
